Rossvale are desperate to expand their players from 600 we have currently, but in order to do that we require coaches for all age groups. If you see yourself as a coach and enjoy working with young people, you may be a phone call away. no experience is necessary as we will put you through the appropriate coaching badges and first aid courses.  An 80's night is being organised at the Cadder Freestone on the 21st February. There has been a proposal that the profits are shared between Rossvale and Cancer Research or similiar charity. Please watch out for more information

Kit Person

The Juniors still require a kit person. The role requires you to attend the Junior games and ensure that the kit is prepared for training and games, approximately four hours a week. If you wanted to find out more information please contact

New 2009 Age Group
 
We have just started a new 2009 age group who will be coached for one hour per week at the moment. We are looking at both boys and girls for this group. If you have a child that is interested please get in touch with Ian Grey on 07748911813.

Ian Grey the club chairman being presented with the SFA Quality Mark award by Scotland and Glasgow City star Emma Fernan and the Scottish FA Central region football development manager Alan Taylor. Alan said the scottish partnership with McDonalds and Sportscotland allows opportunitys to support grassroot clubs and Rossvale being one of the biggest academys in Scotland they are a fantastic example.

Rossvale Football Club was established in Bishopbriggs in 1976 and has since grown, providing boys and girls with the opportunity of playing football from the age of 4 upwards.

The Junior team was formed in June 2011 and offers further opportunity for players to mature into the Junior ranks.

The Club has obtained the SFA Quality Mark and have worked hard over the years to hold this prestigious award. 

Rossvale has over 600 players and 80 qualified coaches with an ambitious and hard working committee.

In conclusion Rossvale Football Club will nurture, support and manage youngsters from the age of 4 through to Junior or professional level as previous players have gained the opportunity to play Senior football with; Celtic Rangers, Hearts, Brechin to name but a few clubs, with the emphasis on personal and team development.
